National Report Highlights Georgia Tech Startup as Success Story

The Science Coalition named a joint Georgia Tech and Emory University startup company as one of its 100 “success stories” in its recent report “Sparking Economic Growth: How federally funded university research creates innovation, new companies and jobs.”

The Atlanta-based nuclear medicine imaging and informatics software company, Syntermed Inc., was founded on technology that resulted from research funded by the National Institute of Health and the Georgia Research Alliance.
