Georgia Tech has just made it easier for students, faculty, and staff to report their groundbreaking new inventions and scientific discoveries. The Division of Industry Collaborations, International Contracts and Innovation Commercialization — also known as IC3 – recently launched a secure, Web-based system that enables Georgia Tech innovators to submit invention, copyright, and trademark disclosures online. IC3 has also provided a Web-based tutorial that guides Georgia Tech innovators through the submission process. The streamlined system helps Georgia Tech researchers report important scientific findings and new ideas quickly and easily.

New features include:

  • 24/7 submissions for technology disclosures
  • Comprehensive tracking of GT innovators’ technology disclosures
  • Easy access to contact information for IC3 staff assigned to GT innovators
  • Electronic signatures accepted

This new system protects the intellectual property rights of university employees and ultimately helps to promote the commercialization of Georgia Tech innovations. To learn more about the new online disclosure process, visit
